Valley View Chancel Choir
Our Chancel Choir is composed of approximately 50 members, a director and accompanist, who are dedicated to leading in worship through music from September into June. We meet every Wednesday from 7pm to 8:30pm. There is little time for visiting during our rehearsals, and so we have several socials throughout the year, usually around the holidays. We also have a Christmas Dinner Party and Spring Picnic, events which include spouses or significant others. We all have a strong commitment to our music and each other, and have a wonderful time in fellowship and song.
The past several years we have sponsored a series of concerts, called the Encore Series. These have featured professional musicians, are open to the public, and the money earned is used for equipment, and paying instrumentalists who join us for special events.
Valley View Chancel Choir has a loyal membership, and we welcome new members with open arms. We are a fun loving and hard working musical group of people. We love to share our music with others!
